I have a question I would liked answered please. Boys U16 last weekend. Away team had same colour strip as the home team. Away team ask if they can play with bibs on. Do I let them play or do Away team forfeit? They end up getting a change strip in time. Thanks - Ray

The away team has to change their strip or they forfeit. Teams can't play with bibs on, otherwise you can't see their numbers.

Law 18 guys... common sense. Let the kids play. Send in an incident report afterwards.

I have had several simmilar cases this year. 2 teams show up in white shorts and red socks. 1 team in red shirts, the other in white. In many of the "less professional" leagues, clubs seem to struggle to manage an away strip. The money just isn't there and lets face it, they are there to have fun. They are not the highly competative levels. If they can make themselves clearly distinguished, let them play as long as you are satisfied that you can easily tell the difference. Andrew
